Year 8 D&T projects will have a booklet which you have been using in school. All Booklet sections will be uploaded onto the D&T Google Classroom. Instructions will be provided with the work sections on the D&T classroom. |

Structures and Forces. Present and analyse existing bridge design examples. Forces, identify different forces and how they affect structures. Components of a frame structure |

Structures and Forces. Concepts Initial concept ideas for a frame structure bridge design. |

Structures and Forces. Development Choose one or two ideas to develop. Development is refining and changing the design moving towards a final solution. |

Remote learning week one and two Art tasks. The first two weeks will require students to work on visual communication skills to complement Design and Technology skills development.
