Armfield Academy – Building Developments Update 6 (BDU6)

“Welcome to our sixth BDU which gives readers an insight into the building developments currently taking place on the academy sites to the north and south of Arnold Avenue.

The South Buildings will be ready in time for our September 2018 intake of 160 Year 7 students and 60 Reception students. The bullet points below identify what specific actions are currently underway and what will follow.

Everything is going to plan as described in the captions, with the kitchen stainless steel equipment being installed at the very end of the building programme. The 4G Astroturf is a brilliant, quality facility, marked out as a full size football pitch. Our Armfield students will love the hi-tec classroom spaces along with the artificial football surface and brand new cricket square on the St. Annes Road field”
