Armfield Academy Year 7 Open Evening Success!
More than 500 families (totalling 900+ visitors), seized their chance to attend the very first Armfield Academy Open Evening earlier this month.
The event, held on Monday 9th October, saw a packed out crowd completely fill the Globe Theatre, Blackpool Pleasure Beach. The hundreds of prospective Year 7 parents/carers and students were eager to hear the Fylde Coast Academy Trust’s (FCAT) plans for Armfield Academy when it opens in September 2018.
John Topping, Community Relations and Estates Lead said: ‘There has been considerable interest from Year 6 students and their families to join our brand new 2-16 Armfield Academy and we now look forward to the next phase of meeting Reception and Nursery age children and their families at our Open Evening on 28 November 2017 at Blackpool Pleasure Beach.
